What is INTO?
INTO is the International Teekkari Guild of Tampere University, located on the Hervanta Campus, dedicated to building an inclusive community for students from diverse backgrounds. As a student-led organization, INTO connects international and Finnish students, encouraging cultural exchange and collaboration. INTO is a founding member of the Teekkari Union and partner organization of the Student Union TREY.
The guild organizes a variety of events, ranging from cultural evenings to social gatherings, providing a platform for members to engage, share traditions, and explore new perspectives. With its 400 members, INTO also plays a key role in helping international students navigate their new environment by organizing international student tutoring. This offers opportunities to connect with local students and immerse themselves in Finnish Teekkari culture.
At its core, INTO is about celebrating diversity and unity. It creates a welcoming space where students from all over the world come together to learn, grow, and form lasting friendships. INTO is more than a guild; it’s a vibrant community that thrives on collaboration and inclusivity.
